Rig anchors and frames, build lowering, belay, haul and rappel systems, and carry out rescues with a Stokes basket or SKED - all with custom props, a custom simulated rope and custom animations. ### Features * Rescue tripod, A-frame and aerial high directionals (vehicle ladders and prop-based ladder scripts) * Anchor slings, steel strops and pickets, linked to a rigging plate * Lowering, belay, rappel and traverse lines, and Z-rig haul systems from 3:1 up to 9:1 compound * Two tensioned rope systems (TTRS) and lower-to-raise conversions * Pick-offs, litter attendants, tag lines and low angle (slope) rescues with litter tenders * Stokes basket and SKED stretcher * Confined space training tank with a 4-gas monitor and forced ventilation * AI demo rescues and timed training scenarios with a leaderboard * A streamed work harness (freemode male and female) * Optional ox\_inventory items and ACE permissions ### Requirements | Resource | Required | | ------------- | ---------------------------------------------- | | OneSync | Yes | | ox\_lib | Yes | | ox\_target | Optional - without it, press G next to the kit | | ox\_inventory | Optional - only when items are turned on | ### Installation Line Rescue is installed like any other resource. See our [Installing Resources](/tebex-fivem-escrow-system/installing-resources.md) page for help downloading it from your Cfx.re Keymaster. 1. Drop the `bk_mdx_linerescue` folder into your resources. 2. Add the following to your `server.cfg`, after ox\_lib: ``` ensure ox_lib ensure bk_mdx_linerescue ``` 3. Restart your server. ### Updating Replace the folder, restart the resource and then reconnect to the server. A resource restart does not reload animations the game already has in memory, so new animations will not show until you reconnect. ### Configuration Everything you can change is in `config.lua`, which is left open. The rest of the resource and its streamed assets are protected by the Cfx asset escrow. | Setting | What it does | | ---------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- | | `Config.AcePermission` | ACE permission needed to use the kit (`false` = everyone) | | `Config.AdminAce` | ACE permission for the admin commands | | `Config.Gear` | Which vehicles carry the kit (emergency vehicles and listed models) | | `Config.Gear.Items` | Use ox\_inventory items for the kit | | `Config.RopeBags` | The rope bags (lengths) to choose from when a line is rigged | | `Config.Aerials` | Aerial appliances - vehicle models, ladder bones and ladder props | | `Config.Lines` | Line settings, including the haul stroke (`haulTravel`) | | `Config.Demo` | AI demo rescues (turn off or limit with an ACE) | | `Config.Training` | Training scenarios, par times and scoring | | `Config.ConfinedSpace` | Confined space tanks, including permanent sites | | `Config.Sound` | Sound volume and which sounds play | | `Config.Debug` | Debugging tools - leave off on a live server | ### Permissions Line Rescue has ACE permission integration. To limit who can use the kit, set `Config.AcePermission` in the config.lua and grant it to a group: ``` add_ace group.fire linerescue.use allow ``` The admin commands (`/rr_clearall`, `/rr_tank`) need `Config.AdminAce` (`linerescue.admin` by default): ``` add_ace group.admin linerescue.admin allow ``` ### Items (ox\_inventory) Items are optional. Each bag's item is taken when a line is rigged from it and given back when the line is taken down. With only one bag listed, nobody is asked. ### Work harness (EUP) The work harness is streamed with the resource for freemode male and female peds, in the body armour / vest slot. Its drawable number depends on the other clothing packs on your server - type `/rr_harnessinfo` in game to see its slot and EUP number.
